Tretinoin Retin A Micro Gel 0.1% contains tretinoin in a retinol gel base with microspheres. It differs from generic Retin-A as it is bright yellow in colour and contains time-released microspheres which appear to feel grainy or gritty and deeply penetrate into the skin’s epidermis. It is marketed as having fewer side effects than generic tretinoin.
Tretinoin is derived from Vitamin A. It is used to treat acne to prevent the formation and spread of acne, pimples, and blackheads. It is also used to treat sun-damaged skin pigmentation. It works by removing dead skin cells, increasing collagen production, plumping out skin therefore leaving younger, brighter and more youthful skin cells.
Retin A Micro Gel is used also to treat sun-damaged skin, pigmentation, hyperpigmentation, sun/age spots and reduces excessive oil production in the skin.
Apply a pea-sized amount at night time, avoiding the corners of your eyes mouth and nose.
It is important to keep your skin hydrated and be diligent by using an SPF 50 the following morning.

The consistency is more like a cream with a slightly granular texture. This formula agrees with my skin however and I have had very good results so far with minimal peeling.
Started using this high quality gel and can certainly say it is authentic and sealed well. Packaging was great! Time will tell on benefits of its use. Will not use another service!

I like to provide honest and genuine feedback after giving a product a decent ‘ go’. It is early days with this particular Tretinoin ( RETIN-A-MICRO) but so far this product has been pleasing to my skin ( I’m an experienced and accustomed user to Tretinoin) I rarely develop peeling or dryness now. I found the texture of this particular product quite grainy and a bit rough but it does melt in eventually and by the next morning my skin felt velvety and smooth. As Tretinoin is an ‘ active ingredient’ I apply it to my skin thinly, I allow it to dry fully, wait and then spray my face ( lightly damp with water) not soaking wet and then apply a few drops of my hyaluronic acid serum and then seal this al in with a pea size amount of my moisturiser at night-time. You MUST use an SPF everyday, come rain and shine – this is great for anti-ageing benefits, protection and healing for the skin. I am consistent with my skincare regime and I have found these techniques give me amazing results. Tretinoin World is the king of Tret! 🙂
